ACE Allograft Products
An allograft consists of tissue intended for transplantation into another individual of the same species. According to the American Association of Tissue Banks, over the past five years more than two million musculoskeletal allografts have been provided to surgeons for transplantation into patients, with no documented incident of infection or disease transmission caused by the allograft.
Collagen is an essential component in the formation of periodontal tissues and new bone. Collagen is required for blood clotting, promotes mineral deposition, and binds circulating osteoinductive proteins that encourage bone formation.
Tissue Processing
ACE allografts are obtained and processed in conjunction with one of the finest, state-of-the-art tissue banks in the USA. Tissues are processed aseptically and in accordance with AATB and FDA guidelines, as well as our own stringent policies and procedures. The state-of-the-art GMP facility houses seventeen ISO 5, ISO 6, and ISO 8 cleanrooms. Once the tissue is shaped, measured and packaged, it is terminally sterilized according to ISO 11137 and validated processes.
Allograft Packaging
ACE allografts are processed and shipped sterile in a secure validated package to assure safe transport and storage of all tissues. The labeling is designed for clear product identification and traceability. Packages are peel-back or glass vials for easy accessibility in the operating room, doctor’s office or clinic.
